Branding photography became personal for me long before it became a service.

My freelance journey began at a time when I felt overwhelmed, overstimulated, and unsure of my direction. Like many women starting out on their own, I found myself constantly comparing my progress to others, questioning my worth, and trying to mould my creativity to fit expectations that didn’t feel like mine. Despite this, I had a strong instinct that I needed to keep going - even if I didn’t yet have all the answers.

Attending my first all-women networking event was a turning point. In that space, surrounded by women building businesses on their own terms, something clicked. I realised that while I love photography, what I love just as much is connection - listening, understanding, and helping women feel confident in how they present themselves.

Freelancing, for me, is about choosing a different way of working and creating. It’s about stepping away from pressure, perfection, and the need to impress - and instead making work that feels intentional, aligned, and true. I want my clients to recognise themselves in their images, to feel proud of what they’ve built, and to show up with confidence and clarity.
